“Five years ago, I didn’t fully understand what it meant to be “made for more.” But as I reflect on these past five years with Aliyah Ministry, I can now see why I was created. In the past, I spent so much energy trying to prove my love for God—doing things for Him in hopes that He would see me, that I would be visible and worthy in His eyes. But during my vow renewal in 2023, the Lord gently spoke a powerful truth to my heart: “It’s not about how much you love Me, but about how much I love you.” That moment changed everything.Through Aliyah Ministry, I’ve learned to recognize and process the unhealed and unhealthy patterns that once defined my life—patterns that I and many other women couldn’t even see clearly for what they were. I didn’t know what a stronghold truly was, let alone how to walk through and overcome one. But seeing it lived out in Stefanie’s life, and through the imagery of the merry-go-round we so often find ourselves stuck on, I began to understand.I came to realize I wasn’t walking in relationship with Jesus—I was walking in bondage to performance. I thought if I could just be “good enough,” then God would love me. But what I’ve discovered through this ministry is that He already loves me—deeply, unconditionally. He’s not after my performance; He’s after my heart.Aliyah Ministry has helped me learn to be vulnerable—not just with others, but with the Lord. I’ve let Him into those hidden, broken places I didn’t even know needed healing. And while healing is hard, every step toward wholeness is worth it. I had no idea how many wounds I was still carrying or how much they influenced my daily life. But as I began to walk this journey, I realized just how broken my heart was—and how desperately I needed Jesus to restore it.Stefanie continues to model surrender in the most powerful way. Her life reminds us that saying “yes” to the Lord will always lead to something greater than ourselves.”
