In April, Candace traveled to El Salvador to share the vision of Aliyah Ministry with ten local pastors and ministry leaders at a local orphanage. As she spoke, hearts began to open. The response was powerful—full of excitement, hope, and eagerness for what God is doing through Aliyah Ministry.
July 14th-18th 2025, we embarked on yet another God-ordained journey to El Salvador. During this trip, we had the opportunity to hold three key meetings:
-
With Our Translators: This time was dedicated to building personal relationships, sharing the heart of Aliyah Ministry, and laying a foundation for partnership. We hope to not only work with them on future visits but also to mentor and encourage them in their own Aliyah—their personal upward journey with the Lord.
-
With Local Pastors: We hosted a conference with the ten pastors Candace met in April. During this time, we were able to cast the vision, share more about how Aliyah Ministry can serve their churches, and began cultivating long-term relationships rooted in mutual encouragement and Kingdom purpose.
-
With the Leaders of Remar Orphanage: We also met with Mary, the leader at Ramar, to share our heart for serving both the staff and the children. Our desire is to return in the future to host special events, offer spiritual and emotional support, and nurture ongoing discipleship and growth among the children and those who care for them.
Throughout each of our meetings, God moved powerfully—opening the door for us to return and continuing to work in ways that exceeded our expectations. We formed deep, meaningful relationships with the translators, local pastors, and Mary, the dedicated leader of Remar. We were also deeply moved by the overwhelming love of the children there. Our time with them was nothing short of a blessing, refreshing our spirits and leaving a lasting impression on our hearts. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and God did exceedingly, abundantly more than we could have ever asked or imagined. We were completely undone by His faithfulness and goodness. We’re excited to share that we’ll be returning in January 2026 for a focused time with the children and the Remar community. With school out during that season, we’ll have the incredible opportunity to spend extended quality time with them and host two full days of fun-filled activities. Additionally, we’ll return in March 2026 to host a special event for local pastors, their spouses, and leadership teams at their churches, as well as a separate event for the leaders at Remar in May. Looking further ahead, we’ll return once more in January 2027 to host a special event for the older children, ages 15 and up. Our hearts are full of anticipation for what God will do in every life involved. We cannot wait to be reunited with everyone and to see God continue His beautiful work. This is only the beginning of what we believe will be a lasting partnership with the people of El Salvador. Our prayer is that Aliyah Ministry will be a refreshing and empowering presence—pouring into leaders, pastors, translators, and children alike, all for the glory of God.
